Building a direct ordering channel in a mobile-first market
The client is a restaurant operating in a busy local area where most customers search and order food on their phones. A large share of demand comes from high-intent searches for nearby takeaway and delivery options. However, the restaurant’s existing website did not support this behaviour. Customers found it difficult to browse the menu, view prices or complete orders. As a result, the business relied heavily on third-party delivery platforms, which reduced margins.
